On my way to school this morning I was behind this enormous truck.
Now, no offense to any of you who may have one, but trucks like this make me think one thing, and one thing only:
SMALL PEN!S.
I know it's an unfair stereotype, and frankly, I'm sure there are plenty of men who drive trucks like that who are pleasantly endowed, but what the fuck is the deal???
So here's the truck I was behind:
Can you tell how little space there is between his wheels and the edge of his lane???
That was what caught my eye.
He leaves himself very little room for error there!
And for comparison's sake, I snapped a shot of a normal-sized vehicle.
Unfortunately he wasn't in the center of his lane, but you can still see the difference.
Anyway...
I planted raspberry bushes in the early summer and they have been producing some beautiful fruit.
I neglected them for a few days and lost a bunch of berries, but I have picked probably 6 cups full over the past few days, and I only have a couple of small bushes!
Also, our tripto Moab was phenomenal.
The kids loved it, just as I planned, and they are already antsy to go back.
I love it when they're ME!!!
I already posted a couple of the best shots on my other blogs, but I want to write a little about the pictures, so I'll put them here as well.
This is Delicate Arch, my favorite--everyone's favorite.
It's just so monstrous and lovely!!
This cloud formation I watched for miles and miles as we wound our way out to Dead Horse Point and my husband tried to get my kids to believe there would be dead horses there...they knew better!
I love how the top part of the cloud looks like it's erupting out of the lower clouds.
I dunno.
It was awesome.
Tonight: Def Leppard, Styx, Foreigner!!!
Wooot!!!
Happy weekend everyone...
thanks for being here.

What a great concert! Have a wonderful time!
I can't imagine how cool it must be to hear "Mr. Roboto" sung live.
Omigod, Styx? And Foreigner? Sounds enormously cheesy! Does Def Leppard still have the one-armed drummer?
I literally gasped at the sight of that overflowing bowl of fresh raspberries. You can never move from that raspberry bush, not unless there's a good berry source by the new place.
The medical term for the abnormally small penis is microphallus. There are two valid pronunciations. Three, actually: (1) "micro-phallus." (2) "my-CROF-a-lus" (I cannot type a schwa in place of that "a," alas). (3) "HA HA HA! Oh my god! Oh! Oh. I'm sorry. Ha ha! No, really, I shouldn't laugh. I'm so sorry. AAAAH HA HA HA! So, is that a powerful engine in your truck?"
Thank you for your URL. It will be good to stay in touch and follow your life. So far so good. It looks nice and crisp.
Another odd thing about most of those trucks. Most are never really used as a truck and usually just transport ONE person. You may be right about your suspicion related to the author. Sure makes one wonder.
Your photos are good. That is another way you can "speak" to your audience and I hope you will do even more of it than you have in the past.
Are you sure that cloud wasn't from a secret nuclear weapon test?? :)
Oops, not the AUTHOR of the truck but the OWNER! I really need to remember to proof read things before hitting send.
That was EXACTLY what it made me think of, Mr. L!!!
And, speaking of small penises, I can't believe I forgot to post the best red rock of all times!!!! But it sort of deserves an entire story to itself....
Ok, now to be more civilized:
Yes, Orange, the audience was mostly older folks, but those bands rocked HARD. And yes, they still have their one-armed drummer--that dude is amazing!
Twas a great show, Tricia. Pour some Sugar brought a cavalcade of memories--and of hot audience members on the jumbo-tron!
I'm glad you came along, Dick. And you got that right--those trucks are rarely for anything more than show. Never for work--can't scratch our beauty-fill truck!! ahahahaha!
"This one time...at band camp..."
That's how my "Pour Some Sugar on Me" memories start. :D
