I should have a working satellite dish television system by prime time tonight!!
I have actually started twitching from the lack of The Office and House.
I can't even let myself THINK about how many episodes of Weeds and Californication I have missed.
Although, I did just realize that I can probably watch them all online.
Dumbass.
And, hallelujah!
I am no TV junkie, you guys are well aware of that, but those are four pretty fucking spectacular shows and two of them had season premieres the day after my move so I'm more put off than I ought to be.
Besides, I am a little lonelier at nights than I used to be...
Now I have a hungry child, so I'll catch ya later.

Heres hoping the satellite people came Lady!
I'm always a season behind in house cos I just buy the box sets. I spend way too much time trying to convince people not to talk about it in work. But Hugh Laurie is absolutely worth it!
Hope you're well lady!
Linda:)
Okay, I understand. I won't start my anti-TV rap. Hope you have fun with that.
Is it hi-def? I hope it's hi-def. It's one of those things you didn't think you needed, but then once you have it you wonder how you ever did without it!
You really need to start watching BBC America-- Doctor Who and Torchwood. Whew! Top grade stuff.
I shall check into it, irrelephant. I do tend to be enamoured with all things British!!
Eh. I lost the high def 100" projector in the divorce, richman, so thanks for reminding me of my loss. :P It really is a beautiful thing, but remember--I'm a girl. I truly don't give a shit about picture quality or sound quality. I do appreciate it when it's there but I miss driving the Mercedes way more than I miss the projector and surround sound. I have a 27 incher in my bedroom and--wow that sounds dirty and boy dont' I wish and jesus who woulda thought that 2 or 3 weeks without sex would make me THIS. EFFING. HORNY??
Ahem.
Thanks, Bud. :) I am still too fragile for lectures...(conveniently enough! heh...)
I am very well, flying high, Linda--thanks for asking!! :) I agree that Hugh Laurie is well worth any effort that must be expended!!
I finally dropped my sat TV this past winter. I don't use it at home where I have cable and it doesn't look like I'll be making those long winter Snowbird trips anymore so won't need it in the RV. And I was paying $68 per month for it when I didn't even turn the receiver on. But it was great to sit out in the Arizona desert and be able to watch hundreds of channels including the east & west coast feeds from the 4 big networks. And all of that off of my battery bank powered by solar panels. Technology is great!

Oh, you gotta start watching 30 Rock on Thursdays too! You can get the Season 1 DVD to catch up.
I caught most of the reruns over the summer, Orange, and I do actually have it set up on my recurring timer...I just forgot about it! But I'll probably be spending more time watching tv now that I'm ALL ALONE. Sniff. (heehee!)
I watched it for a little while
I love to watch things on TV...
It's how I stalk all my international crushes, actually, d-man. So WATCH OUT. Heh.
Yeah, Dick I hear ya on not paying for something you don't use--always a sound decision!
Being able to watch TV shows online has given me more pleasure than I ever realized. EVER!
its no surprise we watch the same TV shows....long live hank moody!
You ARE Hank Moody, Jerry!!!
I know what you mean, itchy...the joy is disproportionate to the activity, truly!
